Its feed control system automatically adjusts the infeed rate to maximize throughput, and its grinding components are extremely resistant to damage by contaminants – meaning more uptime, more production, and more material processed.

Its heart and soul, a powerful Caterpillar® C32 1125 hp (895 kW) Tier 4 Final diesel engine, produces 4056 lb-ft at 1200 rpm to tame even the hardest materials. Green waste, C&D debris, land clearing waste, forestry residue, storm debris cleanup, and MSW – the Redback DS1125T handles them all to amplify your output and productivity.

Key Features

The American-made CAT C32 engine provides 1125 hp with 4056 lb-ft of torque to power through even the toughest and hardest feedstocks.

Self-cleaning, heavy duty infeed conveyor for a maintenance free, long life.

Proportional feed control system automatically adjusts the infeed rate to maximize throughput.

Infeed conveyor and feed wheel are driven directly by high-torque motors (not chain driven).

Feed wheel has a multi-tooth design with a large lift height, giving an infeed opening height of 3’. It also features a manual crush down feature to clear jams.

Heavy-duty screen provides a long service life and is easily removed when a screen change is required.

Tough rotor and anvil are built to handle the hardest materials and are highly resistant to damage by contaminants.

Fully lined grinding chamber features heavy-duty key locked hammer tips which overlap the rotor discs to give full width grinding coverage.

24’ 6” long, 72” wide conveyor belt with max discharge height of 14’ 10” allows for a high volume, consistent flow of material.
