DS800T Horizontal Grinder

Packed with power and a wild spirit, this mighty mobile machine will make easy work of a wide variety of materials.

The DS800T features the widest feeding table and feeder floor in its class with a proportional feed control system that adjusts the infeed rate to maximize throughput. With an infeed opening of 1000 mm, the multitooth feed wheel has a manual crush down feature to keep even the most challenging materials moving.

Fitted with a Caterpillar® C18 785 hp (597 kW) Tier 4 Final diesel powerplant, the DS800T is more than capable of handling everything from large land clearing projects to smaller re-grinding operations. Specifically developed in Australia to grind the hardest woods and timber in the world, Redback grinders are built tough to handle anything and everything.

Feed wheel has a multi-tooth design with a large lift height, giving an infeed opening height of 3’. It also features a manual crush down feature to clear jams.

Heavy-duty screen provides a long service life and is easily removed when a screen change is required.

Tough rotor and anvil are built to handle the hardest materials and are highly resistant to damage by contaminants.

Fully lined grinding chamber features heavy-duty key locked hammer tips which overlap the rotor discs to give full width grinding coverage.

24’ 6” long, 72” wide conveyor belt with max discharge height of 14’ 10” allows for a high volume, consistent flow of material.
